Old Thorns Hotel & Resort is seeking a friendly Restaurant Assistant to join our Restaurant Team. You will help provide smooth service, take orders, and help create memorable moments for guests.

This entry-level role offers flexible hours (including evenings and weekends) with training and opportunities to develop within a bustling hospitality environment at our countryside Hampshire venue.

Qualifications

• Valid Right to Work in the UK (sponsorship not available).
• Over 18 preferred per Licensing Act 2003; under 18 considered with alcohol-restricted duties.

Responsibilities

• Serve guests politely and take food & beverage orders.
• Process orders through till/check system and serve as appropriate.
• Clear and reset tables using trays; keep work area clean.
• Deliver high standard of customer service and help guests create great memories.

Job Description

Old Thorns Hotel & Resort have an exciting opportunity for a Restaurant Assistant to join our Restaurant Team. We are passionate about hospitality and our Restaurant aims to provide a smooth and efficient service for our customers, helping to create the best memories.

Main Responsibilities

• Serving guests politely, taking food & beverage orders,
• Processing orders through the till / check system and serve as appropriate.
• Clearing and resetting tables using trays,
• Keeping your work area clean,
• Delivering high standard of customer service and helping guests to create great memories.

Qualifications

• Valid Right to Work in the UK - sponsorship is not available for this position
• Ideally over the age of 18 to comply with the Licensing Act 2003, however, applicants under 18 are considered with alcohol-restricted duties.
• Entry level role - previous experience is desirable but not required.
• Available to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends)
