Job summary

Old Thorns Golf Resort & Spa Hampshire is seeking a Banqueting team member to provide Food & Beverage services at Conferences, Weddings and other events in our ballrooms and meeting rooms.

We require flexibility for evenings and weekends. You will help with setup, service, and guest greetings, while staying compliant with liquor licensing laws.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Valid Right to Work in the UK - Sponsorship not available for this position.
• Ideally over the age of 18 to comply with the Licensing Act 2003, however, applicants are considered under 18 with alcohol-restricted duties.
• Entry level role - previous experience is desirable but not required.

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our fantastic Banqueting Team here at Old Thorns Golf Resort & Spa Hampshire!

We are passionate about hospitality and our Conference & Banqueting team help to provide a smooth and efficient services for our customers and help to create the memories during the most important moments of our customers lives.

This role mainly consists of providing Food & Beverage services to our guests attending Conferences, Weddings and other events using our ballrooms and meeting rooms.

We kindly ask that you are available for a flexible rota, where evenings and weekends are required.

Main Responsibilities

• Food & Beverage Service during events.
• Assisting with set up and clear down before and after events.
• Assist with set up, food and drink service and clear down after events.
• Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner.
• Be confident and knowledgeable about food & drink and in current liquor licensing laws and ensure these are strictly adhered to.
• Help in other areas of the Food & Beverage department, where required.
