We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to play an important part in the smooth running of our hospitality operation. This is a practical, active role supporting busy kitchens, catering areas and events by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, organisation and safe working.
You will clean and prepare kitchen and back-of-house areas, follow daily and periodic cleaning schedules, support waste handling and help keep equipment and cleaning materials safely stored and ready for use. You will also assist with deliveries, stock movement and basic food preparation or service support when required.
Working closely with chefs, the Senior Kitchen Porter and wider hospitality team, you will help ensure service areas remain clean, safe and ready throughout the day. You will follow food hygiene, COSHH, manual handling and health and safety procedures, reporting any hazards or equipment concerns promptly.
