The Lowry is seeking a Commercial Duty Manager to lead our live commercial operation across restaurant, bars, coffee shop, retail and events. This highly operational role places you on the shop floor to observe service, support teams and resolve issues before they affect visitors.
You will deploy resources during busy periods, manage queues, handle cash and maintain standards, with coaching to ensure consistent service and revenue protection.
Lowry is a visual and performing arts venue situated at the heart of MediaCityUK in Salford, one of the world's most exciting culture and media destinations.

This is a highly operational, shopfloor-based role. You will spend most of your time within the business, observing service, supporting teams and resolving issues before they affect the visitor experience. During busy trading periods, you will make practical decisions on deployment, queue management and priorities, while acting as a calm point of contact for customers and colleagues across Lowry.
You will work closely with managers and supervisors to protect standards, income and operational controls, while reinforcing clear expectations through active leadership and coaching. The role also includes responsibility for cash handling, safe working practices and effective communication between commercial teams and the wider organisation.
If you are comfortable leading across a fast-moving visitor environment, can balance customer needs with commercial priorities and bring calm judgement when plans need to change, this is an opportunity to play a central role in how Lowry operates each day.
