Knowsley Council is seeking a Restart Employment Advisor to provide high-quality information, advice and guidance to residents seeking training and employment opportunities. The role collaborates with local employers, partners and council services to align workforce skills with employer needs and support economic growth.

The Restart Programme assists residents referred via a mandated pathway from JCP, focusing on those out of work for six months.

Qualifications

• Deliver high-quality information, advice and guidance to Knowsley residents seeking training and employment opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with local employers, partners and council services to align workforce skills with employer needs, supporting economic growth and improved outcomes for residents.
• The Restart Programme will deliver assistance to residents referred via a mandated pathway from JCP.
• Restart programme targets unemployed people who have been out of work for at least 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality information, advice and guidance to Knowsley residents seeking training and employment opportunities.
• Collaborate with local employers, partners and council services to align workforce skills with employer needs, supporting economic growth and improved outcomes for residents.
• Deliver the Restart Programme from Knowsley Works offices, with face-to-face delivery as required by contractual obligations.
• Maintain high standards of customer care, professionalism and service delivery across all employment programmes.
