Job summary

Aspire Recruitment in Manchester is seeking a Restart Employment Advisor to help individuals who have been out of work move into sustainable employment. You will understand each participant's circumstances, identify barriers and provide tailored guidance to support their journey back into work.

You will manage a caseload, conduct diagnostics, and create personalised action plans while assisting with CVs, job searching, and interview preparation.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing a caseload and supporting individuals into employment or training.
  • Background in a target-driven environment with experience working towards KPIs.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to motivate and influence others.
  • Experience identifying and addressing barriers to employment.
  • Knowledge of job search techniques, CV development and interview preparation.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems.
  • A positive, empathetic and solution-focused approach with a genuine passion for helping people.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of participants and building positive, productive relationships.

Restart Employment Advisor

Manchester
£28,500 bonus
Full-time, 12 Months Fixed Term

The Role:

We are recruiting for a dedicated and motivated Restart Employment Advisor to support individuals who have been out of work for an extended period to move into sustainable employment. You will work closely with participants to understand their individual circumstances, identify barriers to work, and provide tailored support, guidance and encouragement throughout their journey back into employment.

The role involves:
  • Managing a caseload of participants and building positive, productive relationships.
  • Conducting in-depth diagnostics to assess employability, skills, experience and support needs.
  • Creating and reviewing personalised action plans to help participants progress towards work.
  • Providing support with CV writing, job searching, applications and interview preparation.
  • Referring and signposting participants to appropriate training, workshops and specialist support services.
