Job summary

Thanet District Council is seeking a part-time Responsive Repairs Coordinator to join the Tenant and Leaseholder Services team in Thanet. The role offers a starting salary of £26,280 per annum, with progression to £28,200 (pro rata). The contract is permanent, with 22 hours per week.

The post involves administrative coordination of repairs, liaising with inspectors and contractors, and ensuring timely, high-quality service for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Support the responsive repairs team with essential administration, ensuring accurate records of all repair requests, complex issues, and maintenance at void properties.
  • Act as the central link between inspectors, contractors, internal teams, and external partners to resolve repair requests quickly and effectively.
  • Coordinate the flow of information around the acquisition of new social housing stock, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Build positive working relationships with colleagues, contractors, and external services to make sure repairs are handled efficiently and professionally.
