The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Care Support Worker for Respiratory Ward C5. Join a fast-paced, 49-bed unit delivering compassionate care to help patients recover and go home safely with a multidisciplinary team.

The post holder will work with the Nursing/Midwifery team under a registered nurse, ensuring patient privacy and dignity, contributing to care quality, and pursuing development/training as required.

Qualifications

• GCSE A-C or Functional Skills Level 2 required.
• Care Certificate or ability to complete within 12 weeks of starting.
• QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Healthcare or equivalent experienced.
• Able to perform delegated clinical care duties (e.g., temperature, pulse, respiration, BP, glucose).
• Able to assess patient condition by observation and test results; identify changes needing intervention.

Responsabilités

• Integral ward/team member under supervision of a registered practitioner.
• Communicate effectively with health care team, patients and relatives.
• Assess patient condition and report changes to the appropriate clinician.
• Maintain care environment and contribute to quality initiatives.
• Uphold privacy, dignity, respect and confidentiality.
