Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is hiring a Clinical Support Worker for the Respiratory Support Unit, a 24-bed specialty. You will join a multidisciplinary team to support patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions, including those on respiratory support or airway management.

The role features a varied rota including nights and weekends, with a focus on compassionate, personalised care and upholding patient dignity at all times.

Qualifications

• Care Certificate is required.
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
• Apprenticeship Level 3 in Care or equivalent vocational experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective and compassionate care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
• Support patients requiring respiratory support or airway management.
• Support the physical and emotional wellbeing of patients.
• Deliver personalised care that maintains patients' dignity, comfort and safety.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team.
