The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Support Worker for the Respiratory Ward C5. You will work within a busy, 49-bed unit, providing compassionate patient care under a registered nurse's direction.

We value teamwork, clear communication, and a patient-centered approach. This role supports ongoing skill development within a multidisciplinary environment and offers opportunities for training and progression within the NHS framework.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at A-C or Functional Skills Level 2.
• Care Certificate or ability to complete within 12 weeks of starting.
• QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Healthcare or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a healthcare setting with ability to perform manual handling.

Responsabilités

• Work with the Nursing/Midwifery team to deliver high-standard, individualised patient care under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Communicate effectively with patients, relatives and other members of the care team.
• Assist with delivering day-to-day ward duties and contribute to care plans and safety checks.
• Adhere to policies, procedures and safeguarding while supporting discharge planning as required.
