Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking a Band 6 Respiratory Specialist Nurse to join the North Kent Respiratory Service in Sittingbourne. The role focuses on community-based care for COPD, Bronchiectasis and ILD, combining clinics, home visits and oxygen management within a supportive team.

Flexible hours with no weekends or bank holidays, and access to learning and development support. You will work under mentoring from experienced nurses, with opportunities for professional development and participation

Qualifications

Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse and Nursing registration in the UK.
Minimum 2 years post-registration experience at Band 5 level or equivalent.
Experience in caring for patients with respiratory conditions and advanced clinical assessment skills.

Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of patients with complex respiratory conditions within the community.
Undertake comprehensive respiratory assessments and develop personalised treatment plans.
Deliver nurse-led respiratory clinics and home visits.
Support and assess patients receiving home oxygen therapy.
Monitor patients with chronic respiratory conditions and provide proactive interventions.
