Job summary

HCRG Care Group in Sittingbourne is seeking a Band 6 Respiratory Specialist Nurse to join the North Kent Respiratory Service. This developmental role supports patients with COPD, Bronchiectasis and ILD through clinics, home visits and education, offering mentorship and opportunities for professional development.

You'll work 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm, weekdays with no weekends/bank holidays, and a laptop is provided for agile, flexible working. Travel across the locality is required.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience caring for patients with respiratory conditions.
• Advanced clinical assessment skills and CPD in respiratory care.
• Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of patients with complex respiratory conditions in the community.
• Deliver nurse-led respiratory clinics and home visits.
• Support patients on home oxygen therapy and monitor chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with GPs and hospital teams to ensure integrated care.
• Provide patient education and promote healthy lifestyle choices.
