Respiratory Sleep Service Support Worker (Band 3)

Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) North Wales is inviting applications for a Respiratory Support Worker (Band 3) to join the Sleep Service at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. This part-time role is 18.75 hours per week across 4-5 days, Monday to Friday, 8.30am–5.00pm.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to support sleep assessments and treatments, maintain records, assist with equipment, and deliver person-centred care in line with Welsh nursing support standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care related subjects or equivalent qualifications/experience.
• Experience of working within a health or social care environment and providing direct patient care.
• Good communication skills – verbal and written, with clear and sensitive conveyance of information.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient contact and support in sleep-related assessments and treatment.
• Issue and demonstrate sleep monitoring and treatment equipment.
• Maintain accurate records and support scheduling of appointments.
• Ensure clinical equipment is cleaned, prepared and available for use.
