Job summary

Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a band 5 Respiratory/Sleep physiologist to support the respiratory team for a 12 month fixed period to cover maternity leave. The post involves community diagnostic centre work at Oldham and hospital sites (Fairfield and Oldham Hospitals).

You will perform advanced respiratory investigations, support sleep investigations and assist initiation of treatment and patient follow up.

Qualifications

• Perform a range of Clinical Respiratory and Sleep investigations to patients of all ages.
• Undertake interpretation of results and provision of factual reports.
• Work collaboratively on a day-to-day basis with others to contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the service.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive Clinical Respiratory/Sleep investigative service to patients of all ages from a large range of specialties.
• Perform a range of Clinical Respiratory and Sleep investigations to patients of all ages from a range of specialties, which are cardio-thoracic in nature.
• The post may involve working across the sites within the Northern Care Alliance
