Job summary

Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a Band 5 Respiratory/Sleep physiologist to cover a 12-month fixed period across Fairfield General Hospital, Oldham and community diagnostic centres.

The role involves advanced respiratory investigations, sleep diagnostics, and initiating treatment with patient follow-up, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• BSc in relevant science is required.
• ARTP registration is required.
• Experience in respiratory and sleep physiology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of Clinical Respiratory and Sleep investigations to patients of all ages from cardio-thoracic specialties.
• Interpret results and provide factual reports.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth and efficient service operation.
• Deliver a comprehensive Respiratory/Sleep investigative service across multiple sites.
