UCB is seeking a Real-World Evidence Strategy Lead for Respiratory, based in Slough, hybrid with 40% onsite. You will design and deliver global evidence strategies across development, regulatory decisions, market access, and safety to inform healthcare decisions.

The role requires a strong scientific background, leadership across teams, and collaboration with external experts and partners to drive impact and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, epidemiology, statistics, or a related discipline.
• Eight years’ pharmaceutical industry experience, ideally within respiratory medicine or immunology.
• Strong expertise in epidemiology, outcomes research, clinical development, regulation, and market access.
• Experience developing integrated evidence strategies across multiple internal and external stakeholder groups.
• Proven matrix leadership, influencing, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
• Excellent English communication and scientific writing skills, with strong quantitative expertise.

• Develop integrated real-world evidence strategies supporting respiratory assets throughout their lifecycle.
• Translate stakeholder research questions into impactful data, registry, and evidence-generation plans.
• Lead real-world evidence studies, ensuring quality, governance, timelines, and budget adherence.
• Collaborate across functions to align evidence priorities and resolve competing stakeholder needs.
• Build relationships with external experts, research partners, and healthcare decision-makers.
• Mentor evidence-generation professionals and support capability development across the global function.
