Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a Respiratory Account Specialist to drive growth in secondary care by promoting inhaled respiratory brands to hospitals and NHS trusts across the region. You will engage with key accounts, build practical account plans and work with cross-functional teams to deliver patient impact.

The role requires strong NHS knowledge, ABPI qualification, and a proven pharma sales track record. A full driving licence is essential, and you will operate within AZ’s high ethical standards

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital and secondary care account management.
• Proven track record in pharma sales with a focus on respiratory products.
• ABPI qualified or willing to obtain qualification.
• In-depth knowledge of NHS priorities and formulary processes.

Responsibilities

• Engage with key hospitals to expand sales volume and share through clinical and business-to-business selling
• Generate customer / account insights and build account plans to increase patients on AZ brands
• Work with cross functional team to identify opportunities for practice change at population level
• Develop and drive advocacy, clinical consensus and support RHMs on improving market access for the brands
