Job summary

Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Assistant Practitioner Therapy to work with the respiratory team. The role focuses on assessments and treatments to optimise patient mobility and discharge planning from hospital, in collaboration with physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other practitioners.

Weekend working is required. You will be based at DPOW hospital and may support other specialties as needed, within a competency-based framework and under regular

Qualifications

• Competency-based framework to manage an allocated caseload.
• Baseline information gathering for comprehensive client assessment.
• Work with qualified staff to assess client needs and goals.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload within required timescales.
• Conduct comprehensive client assessments with physical, functional, social and cognitive considerations.
• Plan, review, and modify treatment in line with client goals and outcomes.
• Document interventions in Trust standards using System One.
• Collaborate with MDT to provide holistic person-centred care.
• Audit response to treatment and update resources per current research.
• Engage in training, supervision, and annual reviews.
