Job summary

The Wilf Ward Family Trust is seeking a Resourcing Specialist to join its People Team. You will lead recruitment activities across the Trust, with a focus on frontline Support Worker roles, and help shape workforce planning to ensure the right people are in the right roles at the right time.

You will develop talent pipelines, create engaging job adverts, manage high-volume recruitment, and partner with managers, HR colleagues, and external suppliers to deliver an excellent candidate experience

Qualifications

• Experience in internal recruitment, talent acquisition or resourcing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple vacancies and stakeholders.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Experience with ATS and recruitment metrics.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and compliance requirements is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment activity across the Trust and attract frontline Support Workers.
• Develop talent pipelines for hard-to-fill roles and shape workforce planning.
• Create engaging job adverts and coordinate end-to-end screening and shortlisting.
• Collaborate with managers, People Team, Finance and suppliers to deliver compliant processes.
• Monitor KPIs and provide insights to leadership to improve recruitment outcomes.

We're looking for a Resourcing Specialist to join our People Team and play a vital role in ensuring we have the right people, in the right roles, at the right time. Supporting hiring managers across the Trust, you'll lead recruitment activity for a variety of roles, with a particular focus on attracting frontline Support Workers who make a real difference every day.

This is more than recruitment. It's an opportunity to shape workforce plans, influence hiring strategies, and help deliver outstanding care and support services across Yorkshire.

What You'll Be Doing

Recruitment & Attraction

• Manage a high-volume and varied recruitment workload across the Trust.
• Create engaging job adverts and recruitment campaigns that attract diverse talent.
• Screen, shortlist and coordinate candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Develop talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and critical vacancies.

Workforce Planning

• Work closely with hiring managers to understand current and future workforce needs.
• Use recruitment data and insights to inform attraction strategies and workforce planning.
• Support succession planning and internal career development initiatives.

Stakeholder Partnership

• Act as a trusted advisor to managers on recruitment best practice and workforce solutions.
• Collaborate with People Team colleagues, Finance partners, and external recruitment suppliers.
• Champion inclusive and co-produced recruitment approaches, ensuring the people we support have a meaningful voice in selecting their future support workers.

Data, Compliance & Improvement

• Monitor recruitment KPIs, including time-to-hire and candidate conversion rates.
• Produce regular reports and insights for leadership teams.
• Ensure recruitment processes meet all safeguarding, GDPR, Right to Work, DBS, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, and CQC requirements.
• Continuously improve recruitment processes, employer brand, and candidate experience.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working in an internal recruitment, talent acquisition, resourcing, or recruitment coordinator role
• Experience managing multiple vacancies and stakeholders simultaneously
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of recruitment compliance
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
• A proactive, solution-focused mindset and a genuine passion for finding great talent
