Job summary

Bradford Children's and Families Trust (BCFT) is seeking a highly organised Resourcing Officer to join our Recruitment Team. You will coordinate onboarding, manage pre-employment checks, and ensure safeguarding and Safer Recruitment standards are met, delivering a smooth candidate experience.

Hybrid-working is offered; you will attend the Bradford office two days per week and collaborate with teams across the Trust to support a seamless hiring journey and strong workforce safety for children,

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an administrative role (HR or recruitment preferred).
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident working collaboratively across teams and services.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Understanding of recruitment best practices, employment law, and EDI principles.
• Experience of working within a regulated environment, supporting pre-employment screening, safeguarding requirements, and compliance standards to ensure a safe and compliant onboarding process.
• Awareness of core HR practices and the provision of first-line advice in line with organisational policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage pre-employment checks and onboarding compliance.
• Oversee end-to-end compliance for new starters, DBS checks, references, and right-to-work verification.
• Coordinate with candidates and keep hiring managers informed of progress and outstanding requirements.
• Maintain compliance trackers to monitor onboarding progress and key milestones.
• Collaborate with teams across the Trust to ensure a seamless hiring journey.
