In your role as Resourcing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimising our team to ensure the smooth execution of our business operations and projects.

We have developed our People Strategy, which is designed to support the delivery of CF's company strategy, through ensuring we are an employer of choice within the sector and an ‘irresistible organisation' for our employees. Cost Management
  • Collaborate with business development in the creation of cost tables that provide an overview of the costs incurred of running a project as well as the expected profit margins
  • Manage our use of associates in line with our business plan to accommodate the right people being in the right place at the right time and that associate usage and therefore costs can be planned
  • Design project teams that show appropriate attention to meeting cost margins in each practice, ensuring balanced usage of Associates in line with our business plan and spread across project teams
  • Follow our associate pay benchmarks when determining the pay available for associates being deployed in specific roles for specific projects, particularly when an associate is playing a different role than is usual for them

  • Maintain a skills matrix for CF employees and the associate pool as a live record of the skills and experience network available to us
  • Engage with team members to support their goals and provide wellbeing care where needed
  • Complete ongoing reviews of work allocation across the business to meet target utilisation goals, while ensuring that projects requiring time spent away from London are evenly split across parties
Communication:
  • Communicate resourcing decisions to all staff via conversations where possible, and followed up via Teams before they're notified of new assignments by Partners or other parties
  • Engage in face-to-face discussions around resourcing with support from the Chief People Officer in situations where challenging or sensitive decisions have been made
  • Maintain monthly communication with our associate pool to stay up-to-date on their availability, skills, day rates, and areas of expertise
  • Act as the point of contact for all resource administration queries managing the resourcing mailbox
  • Ensuring all staff are notified in advance of being cited as a project team member in a proposal
  • Create and distribute a weekly resourcing overview that outlines utilisation, start dates for upcoming projects and details of resourcing to those projects
  • Escalate significant resourcing challenges to CPO as soon as they present a meaningful business or people impact
  • In the event that we have bench resource, you will take responsibility for liaising with the CPO and CTO to decide how best to use that resource
  • Ensure each new hire is aware of the project they will be working on prior to joining the business
Associate Management
  • Manage our pool of associates which includes issuing and managing associate contracts, and keeping track of their availability and skillset
  • Support the retention of top-performing associates by maintaining strong connections and ensuring a seamless, positive experience in all interactions with the business
