Join a newly established project Recruitment Team tasked with recruiting the workforce for Sizewell C, a groundbreaking new nuclear power station project that will provide low-carbon electricity to power 6 million homes!

The Role:

As a Resourcing Advisor within Civil Works Alliance (CWA) - an alliance between leading T1 industry contractors – you will form part of a dedicated in-house team alongside 2 other Recruiters.

Your primary focus will be to recruit white-collar employees across various disciplines, such as commercial, procurement, health and safety, plant and logistics, civils, and finance. Your role will be instrumental in building strong talent pipelines and ensuring efficient and effective recruitment processes. The team is set up to work flexibly, with options for hybrid working between the London project office (close to St Pauls), other regional offices, and home.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Build strong, collaborative relationships with hiring managers and HR colleagues to develop and implement tailored talent acquisition strategies.
2. Source high-quality candidates through direct recruitment channels to meet project requirements.
3. Provide expertise in talent sourcing, selection, and the creation of talent pipelines.
4. Identify opportunities to improve recruitment efficiencies and processes.
5. Manage a high-volume, multi-disciplinary vacancy portfolio while empowering and educating hiring managers to meet recruitment needs.
6. Maintain and enhance recruitment systems, supporting ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
7. Develop and promote an effective employment brand and Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
8. Contribute to supporting and advancing our diversity and inclusion agenda.

About You:

1. Proven experience in permanent recruitment, ideally within construction, engineering, technical, or energy.
2. Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume vacancy portfolio, ideally suited for someone with an agency or RPO background.
3. Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to pre-emptively address potential challenges.
4. Quick to establish trusted, collaborative relationships with hiring managers.
5. A solid understanding of recruitment best practices and legislation, preferably with a CIPD or relevant qualification.
6. Confident and adaptable in a start-up environment, where processes are still evolving.
7. A collaborative and solutions-focused mindset with a drive to continuously improve.
