Job summary

Carey Group in Glasgow seeks an energetic Trades & Labour Resourcer to lead and coordinate a skilled workforce for projects. You will align labour supply with demand, source operatives, and ensure compliance across sites.

You will build relationships with regional managers, monitor allocations, and drive continuous improvement in labour processes while delivering reliable, high-performing staffing for our projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in trades resourcing with civil engineering or construction.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements (CSCS cards/Medicals etc).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, project focused and highly organised.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for internal labour requests across designated regions.
• Proactively source, allocate and onboard operatives with full compliance.
• Build partnerships with Regional Operation Managers and wider Operations teams, providing support and insights.
• Maintain smooth and transparent labour allocation.
• Continuously improve processes while growing internal labour resource.

What you will do:

• Act as the "go to" for all internal labour requests across your designated regions
• Proactively source, allocate and onboard operatives whilst ensuring full compliance
• Build strong partnerships with Regional Operation Managers, Construction Managers and wider Operations teams - providing support and insight
• Keep labour allocation smooth and transparent
• Continuously improve processes whilst growing our internal labour resource

What we are looking for

• Proven experience in trades resourcing with civil engineering or construction
