Job summary

Carey Group is seeking an energetic and proactive Trades and Labour Recruiter to lead the way in building a skilled workforce across our projects in Glasgow. You’ll manage internal labour requests, source and onboard operatives, ensuring compliance and partnering with operations to support project success.

Permanent, full-time role based at Glasgow with hybrid working arrangements. The ideal candidate will have trades resourcing experience, strong communication skills and the ability to manage

Qualifications

• Proven experience in trades resourcing with civil engineering or construction.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements (CSCS cards/Medicals etc)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to thrive under pressure - and juggle competing priorities
• Proactive, project focused and highly organised

Responsibilities

• Act as the "go to" for all internal labour requests across your designated regions
• Proactively source, allocate and onboard operatives whilst ensuring full compliance
• Build strong partnerships with Regional Operation Managers, Construction Managers and wider Operations teams - providing support and insight
• Keep labour allocation smooth and transparent
• Continuously improve processes whilst growing our internal labour resource

About Carey Group

Our story starts in 1969 with three brothers and a van.

John, Tom and Pat Carey moved to London from Ireland and started a groundworks contracting company in London called PJ Carey Plant Hire (Oval) Ltd.
