Job summary

Leeds Bradford Airport Limited is looking for a Resource Planning Analyst to ensure the right people with the right skills are in the right place at the right time. You will use data, forecasting and workforce planning to support passenger service and operational performance.

You will work with teams across the airport to identify smarter ways of working, balance demand and efficiency, and help drive improvements that benefit teams and passengers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Spot potential staffing challenges early, challenge forecasts and propose practical solutions when plans change.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, produce accurate reports and turn insights into practical solutions.

• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships and work collaboratively with managers and departments across the airport.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when managing staffing records, forecasts and performance reporting.
• A flexible, proactive approach, with the ability to respond to short-notice changes, identify potential challenges and adapt plans accordingly.
• A strong customer focus and a genuine desire to help deliver an excellent passenger experience.
• Previous experience in scheduling, resource planning or tactical/business planning, with an understanding of how to match staffing levels to operational demand is desirable.

What Your Day-to-Day Will Feel Like

You'll be at the heart of keeping our airport operation running smoothly, using staffing forecasts, data and workforce planning tools to make sure our teams are in the right place at the right time. From maintaining operational rosters and optimising staffing levels to monitoring performance against service targets, you'll help balance operational demands, efficiency and passenger experience.

Working closely with departments across the airport, you'll spot potential staffing challenges before they become problems, challenge forecasts and help find practical solutions when plans need to change. You'll also turn data from different sources into clear reports and insights, helping managers understand performance and make informed decisions.
