Job summary

VIVID Housing is seeking a Resource Planner to join our planning team in Basingstoke. The role is full-time (37 hours) with an in-office requirement of four days per week.

You will schedule repairs and maintenance, keep customers informed, and support trades staff with problem-solving on handheld devices. You’ll work to corporate standards, liaising with customers and internal teams, ensuring efficient diary management and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience scheduling repairs and maintenance appointments.
• Strong communication with customers and trades staff.
• Ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule repairs and maintenance appointments using the scheduling system.
• Ensure appointments are attended and completed within timescales and reschedule as needed.
• Provide managers with information to monitor compliance with standards and policies.
• Monitor diaries to ensure full utilisation of resources and liaise with other planning teams.
• Raise, close and amend jobs on the bespoke system; assist trades staff with device troubleshooting.
• Multi-task and prioritise workload while maintaining a calm, professional approach.
