Job summary

Merlin is seeking a Resource Administrator at Thorpe Park, Chertsey. The role focuses on recruitment-focused administration, onboarding, induction delivery and coordination of health and safety testing to ensure a smooth start for team members for the 2027 season.

You will support the Resource Associates and Resource Manager, coordinate volume hiring events, maintain accurate employee records, and contribute to process improvements for the year ahead.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative or resource/recruitment coordination in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience maintaining precise, organised employee records and documentation.
• Familiarity with onboarding and training processes and proactively addressing challenges.
• Experience delivering engaging inductions and training sessions tailored to audience needs.
• Willingness to adapt to responsibilities and shift requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to collaborate with Planning, People Hub and Resource Team.

Responsibilities

• Assist recruitment administration: identify resourcing needs, raise requisitions and respond to inquiries as a point of contact for new hires.
• Coordinate volume hiring events and provide recruitment data to support Talent Acquisition.
• Create and deliver induction content and training sessions for new starters and returning employees.
• Coordinate on-site health and safety testing and ensure compliance.
• Support process improvement initiatives for 2027 season based on feedback.
