Job summary

Merlin Entertainments is seeking a Volume Recruitment Executive based in Basingstoke to lead high-volume seasonal recruitment for UK attractions. The role covers end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, with exposure to popular parks such as Alton Towers, Legoland Windsor, and Thorpe Park.

You’ll manage multiple requisitions, coordinate with resort stakeholders, and handle screening, interviews, and right-to-work checks. Strong organisational skills and recruitment experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally high-volume or seasonal.
• Ability to manage multiple job requisitions end-to-end through the recruitment cycle.
• Strong understanding of onboarding processes and right-to-work checks.
• Familiarity with recruitment tools and attraction methods.
• Proven ability to manage large candidate pipelines with engagement.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end recruitment for high-volume/seasonal roles across Merlin attractions.

Job description

The UK Volume Recruitment Team is looking for a Volume Recruitment Executive to support high-volume seasonal recruitment across our UK attractions. Based in Basingstoke, Hampshire, this is a great opportunity to work alongside well-known UK theme parks, resorts and attractions. This includes Alton Towers, Legoland Windsor, Chessington World of Adventures, Thorpe Park, The London Eye, London Dungeons and many more!

We are looking for a person with a background in recruitment. This might be from a recruitment agency or similar in-house recruitment role. Similar roles include Seasonal Recruiter, In house Recruitment Assistant or Recruitment Resourcer.

This is a hands‑on role attracting and progressing candidates through to onboarding, using basic screening. You will be familiar with the full end to end recruitment cycle and onboarding processes. This role is ideal for someone experienced in recruitment administration and managing a busy recruitment process. You’ll be familiar with recruitment tools and methods of attraction.

The role requires strong stakeholder management skills as you will attend daily meetings with the resorts and attractions to align on day‑to‑day recruitment activity, inductions and interview scheduling. The role is fast-paced, managing multiple priorities. This includes right to work checks and setting up interviews for candidates. You must have the ability to work across multiple systems at one time.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in recruitment or talent acquisition ideally high volume or seasonal is essential
• Proven ability manage multiple job requisitions end to end through the recruitment cycle, or varying service levels is essential
• Knowledge of all Merlin theme parks and attractions would be an advantage
• Strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle, particularly for hourly and seasonal roles, through to onboarding
• Proven ability to manage large candidate pipelines while maintaining a high level of candidate engagement
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills
• Ability to work across multiple systems at the same time
• Time management skills
• A keen sense of urgency
• Ability to work as part of a team
