Job summary

MHA in Milton Keynes is seeking a Resource Manager to lead regional resource management across audits, aligning activity with firm priorities and driving capacity planning.

You will use data to advise on utilisation, availability and performance, partnering with Partners and People colleagues to address demand and support delivery quality. This role champions an inclusive culture with agile working options.

Qualifications

• Experience in resource management, workforce planning or professional services operations, with responsibility for team delivery.
• Strong knowledge of resource management tools and reporting outputs.
• Ability to analyse large data sets and convert insights into practical, commercial advice.
• Excellent communication with empathy, influence and discretion across leadership and teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the regional resource management strategy across audit, aligned to firm priorities and commercial goals.
• Lead annual and rolling capacity planning, including busy seasons and peak demand.
• Use utilisation and performance data to provide actionable recommendations.
• Partner with Audit Partners, managers and People colleagues to anticipate demand and support delivery quality.
• Resolve resourcing conflicts and manage stakeholder priorities calmly and methodically.
• Coach and develop Resource Advisors and Coordinators with clear roles and goals.
• Drive improvements to resourcing workflows, scheduling processes, and reporting.
• Ensure accurate data is maintained in Dayshape and reporting tools.
