Job summary

MHA is seeking an HR Assistant Manager on a 12 Month FTC in Milton Keynes to shape people strategies and enable a high-performing culture. You will partner with leaders to provide pragmatic HR guidance, support employee relations, and drive regional people initiatives across the firm.

You will coach a Trainee Advisor, foster collaboration across offices, and ensure consistent people practices while leveraging data to inform decisions and improve the employee experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers, directors and partners to provide pragmatic, people-focused advice and support across a range of people matters.
• Support and advise on employee relations cases, including guidance on case management, outcomes and recommendations in line with firm policies and best practice.
• Deliver regional people initiatives and operational people plans aligned with firm-wide objectives.
• Lead and contribute to key People Experience projects, driving improvements to employee experience and people processes.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across multiple offices and levels of the organisation.
• Line manage, coach and develop a Trainee Advisor, supporting their professional growth and development.
• Support regional leadership teams to understand local people priorities and challenges with a consistent approach to people practices across the firm.
• Drive firm-wide best practice, balancing organisational priorities with regional needs and microcultures.
• Use people data and insights to identify trends, inform decision-making and support the delivery of people-focused solutions.
