Job summary

Blackhorse Primary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our Resource Base team, supporting autistic pupils and those with social and communication difficulties. You will work closely with classroom staff to implement tailored activities and monitor pupil progress.

The role is term-time only, 32.5 hours per week, with a 30-minute lunch; the school values ongoing professional development and strong teamwork within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary-aged pupils in an educational setting.
• Ability to motivate children and support progress.
• Ability to present information clearly, orally and in writing, to maintain records and assess progress.
• Willingness to engage in training and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Support autistic pupils and pupils with social and communication difficulties in a Resource Base.
• Assist with learning activities, track progress, and maintain records.
