Job summary

Blackhorse Primary School in South Gloucestershire is seeking a Teaching Assistant (Resource Base) to support autistic pupils and pupils with social and communication difficulties. This permanent, term-time post offers 32.5 hours a week.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.30pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and will have opportunities for professional development within The Leaf Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary-aged pupils in an educational setting.
• Ability to motivate children and support progress.
• Ability to present information clearly, orally and in writing, for records and progress.
• Willingness to engage in CPD and professional development.
• Ability to establish positive working relationships with colleagues.
