Job summary

Hardisty & Co in Horsforth is seeking a driven Sales Valuer to join our established estate agency team. You will generate new business, carry out property valuations, and convert market appraisals into instructions, delivering an exceptional client experience from valuation through to instruction.

In this role, you’ll build relationships with vendors, secure instructions, and target valuation conversions while working with the sales negotiators to maximise opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sales Valuer or similar role in estate agency.
• Track record of winning instructions and generating new business.
• Excellent knowledge of the residential sales market.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence to advise clients on pricing strategies and marketing opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct residential sales valuations and market appraisals across Horsforth and surrounding areas.
• Build relationships with prospective vendors and provide expert market advice.
• Secure instructions and achieve valuation conversion targets.
• Prepare accurate property valuations using comps and local knowledge.
• Follow up valuation appointments and nurture potential clients through the sales process.
• Generate new business through referrals and database activity.
• Work with Sales Negotiators to ensure a seamless customer journey.
• Advise vendors on pricing, presentation and marketing opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to promote mortgage and conveyancing referrals.
• Maintain records and update internal systems, monitor local market trends.
