Responsibilities

• Taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site.
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors, trades and site labour.
• Planning and monitoring build progress against the construction programme.
• Ensuring plots are progressing efficiently and programme targets are achieved.
• Maintaining consistently high standards of health & safety across the development.
• Carrying out regular quality inspections and ensuring homes are built to the required specification.
• Identifying and resolving any issues that could affect programme, quality or cost.
• Leading site inductions, toolbox talks and regular site briefings.
• Monitoring subcontractor performance and ensuring works are completed to agreed standards.
• Maintaining excellent standards of site presentation and housekeeping.
• Liaising with the Contracts Manager, Project Manager and wider construction team.
• Ensuring all works comply with company procedures, building regulations and NHBC standards.
• Providing strong leadership and direction to the site team and subcontractors.
