Job summary

Sphere Solutions in Cornwall seeks a Technical Coordinator to lead technical delivery for residential developments. You will coordinate consultants, manage information from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and NHBC, and liaising with authorities.

The role demands strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple live projects across Devon & Cornwall. Travel to sites is required; a full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience coordinating technical information for new build housing.
• Strong knowledge of UK planning, Building Regulations and NHBC requirements.
• Confident in managing consultants, disciplines, programmes and quality.
• Good technical understanding of house design, site layouts, drainage and infrastructure.
• Highly organised with ability to manage multiple live projects and priorities.
• Relevant construction/design qualification desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across multiple live sites from planning through to completion.
• Coordinate consultants and ensure designs are delivered on time and to standard.
• Manage planning conditions and liaise with authorities and statutory bodies.
• Ensure technical information meets Building Regulations, NHBC and local requirements.
• Identify and resolve design and technical risks before they impact site.
• Manage technical budgets and consultant fees.
• Report progress, risks and key issues to senior management.
