Job summary

Shaw healthcare’s The Grove in Ystradgynlais is hiring a Residential Team Leader on a bank, as/when needed contract. You will lead a caring team to deliver person-centred care in residential and nursing settings, including weekends.

You will have experience in residential care for older people, and an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or be working towards it). Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential to coordinate staff, residents, families and professionals.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading, motivating and supporting the care team to deliver exceptional person-centred care
• Promoting best practice at all times
• Safely administering and recording medication in line with company policies
• Monitoring residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns promptly
• Building positive relationships with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals
• Maintaining accurate care plans and documentation
