Job summary

Shaw healthcare (Group) Ltd is seeking a Residential Team Leader for Deerswood Lodge in Crawley, West Sussex. The role involves leading a care team, upholding person-centred care, and ensuring safe medication administration.

The post is 12 hours per week on a mixed rota, with Sunday day shifts and Friday night shifts. NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is preferred, and experience with older adults is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with older people in residential care.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social care (or equivalent).
• You will be flexible, patient, caring and organised with good people skills.
• Ability to lead a team and use your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on shift to promote best practice.
• Administer and record medication safely per policy.
• Report changes in residents’ needs promptly.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
• Maintain up-to-date care plans and documentation.
