Job summary

Shaw healthcare invites applications for a Night Team Leader at Llwyn Teg in Wales. You will lead the residential care team on night shifts, ensuring person-centred care, safe medication administration, and timely communication with residents and families.

This role suits an experienced carer with NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent, able to motivate staff, manage shift priorities, and uphold Shaw's high standards of care in a supportive, employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with older people in residential care.
• NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
• Flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people.
• Ability to lead a team and use own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on shift to promote best practice.
• Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures.
• Report changes in residents needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans and documentation.
