Job summary

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a Residential Team Leader to maintain high standards of person-centred care and support your team in delivering those standards across shifts. You will lead by example, supervise on shift, and ensure medications are managed safely according to Shaw policies.

The role requires flexibility, patience, and strong people skills, with a focus on care for older residents in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
• Experience leading a team on shift and delivering person-centred care.
• Able to administer and record medication safely and accurately.

Job description

This will include, but not limited to:
• Lead by example, providing guidance and support on shift to promote best practice
• Administer and record medication safely in line with Shaw policies and procedures
• Report changes in residents needs or well-being promptly to the Line Manager
  Experience working with older people in residential care
• You will have completed or working towards your NVQ/QCF Level 3 Health and Social care (or equivalent)
• You will need to be flexible, patient, caring, organised and great with people
• Ability to lead a team and use own initiative
