Job Title: Residential Surveyor
Salary: Up to £55,000 (DOE)
Location: Remote working- surveying Birmingham area Field & Home-Based
Were working with a long-standing surveying practice thats looking to bring an experienced Residential Surveyor on board. The role covers the Birmingham area and involves carrying out Level 2 and Level 3 residential surveys, private valuations, and producing clear, accurate reports.
This is a Monday to Friday role with no weekend work. Youll be given the tools, support, and flexibility needed to do the job properly, with a focus on quality rather than volume.
About the Role
Youll be responsible for surveying residential properties across Birmingham and surrounding areas. The role includes Level 2 Homebuyer Reports, Level 3 Building Surveys, and private valuations. Youll also be expected to produce detailed, well-structured reports in line with industry standards. Youll manage your own diary, with remote support from a well-organised back-office team.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday only-no weekend work.
Key Duties
Conducting Level 2 and Level 3 residential surveys
Some valuation work
Producing clear, detailed written reports
Key Requirements
AssocRICS or MRICS qualified
Solid experience in a residential surveying role
Comfortable with both Level 2 and Level 3 reporting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Organised, self-motivated, and genuinely client-focused
