Hafan Saff Cyf, a provider of Children and Young Persons Residential Services near Abertillery, is seeking Residential Support Workers. The role offers full-time hours with a salary up to £30,000 plus overtime (125%) and an overtime bonus of £100, along with a company pension and benefits.

You will support children and young people with daily care, act as a positive role model, and liaise with families as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Ideally, hold a QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People.
• Experience in a Children’s Residential Setting is preferred.
• Full training and support to obtain the qualification provided for candidates without prior experience.

Are you the right person for the job?

• Ideally, hold a QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People
• Experience in a Children’s Residential Setting is preferred

• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence

What will your role look like?

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing appropriate care within ourhomes, in line with individual Personal Plans. Your responsibilities include:

• General daily care, including meal preparation, supervision, and support for children and young people
• Acting as a positive role model
• Liaising with the young person's family as appropriate
