Job summary

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to implement individual care plans, promote safeguarding, and support daily living skills, education and wellbeing in a safe, stable environment.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for working with children and young people.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Driving Licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people with daily living activities, including personal care, education, and recreational activities.
• Encourage positive behaviour and provide emotional and practical support to build self-esteem and confidence.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with children and young people and with families and colleagues.
• Implement care plans and ensure children’s needs are met according to individual requirements.
• Safeguard and report concerns in line with safeguarding procedures.
• Support development of life skills such as communication, socialisation, and independence.
