Job summary

The Wallich is a leading homelessness and rough sleeping charity in Wales. The project is located in Bridgend and provides residential support to homeless or potentially homeless people, helping them gain independence and move on to suitable accommodation.

Hours are 37.5 per week on a 9 week rolling rota that includes weekends, evenings and nights. The role requires an Enhanced DBS disclosure and a driving licence with access to a vehicle. Closing date: 29 September 2026 at 09:00am.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS disclosure required.
• Driving licence and access to own vehicle essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide residential support enabling service users to address housing and personal difficulties and promote independence.
• Assist with housing management needs to ensure a safe, secure and effective service.
• Provide proactive night-time presence and respond to disturbances and emergencies in line with procedures.
