Hexagon Care Services Ltd is looking for a compassionate Residential Support Worker to join Elizabeth House Children’s Home in Middleton, near Manchester. You will support young people with daily activities, attend appointments and help with behaviour management in a safe, nurturing home environment.

The role offers 40.5 hours per week with shifts including evenings, weekends and regular sleep-ins; a driving licence is essential to cover local transport needs.

Qualifications

• Driving licence required.
• Passion for safeguarding young people.
• Experience with managing challenging behaviour.
• Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.

Responsibilities

• Support young people in daily activities, appointments, cooking, cleaning and outings.
• Manage challenging behaviours with support from senior staff and therapeutic services.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where young people feel heard and valued.
• Collaborate with psychologists and therapy team to establish boundaries and strategies.
