TeacherActive is recruiting a Residential Support Worker for a specialist school in Hereford. This permanent, full-time position offers £12.85–£14.85 per hour and involves supporting children and young people with education, personal care and activity participation while following individual care plans and safeguarding procedures.

You will work across education and residential settings, building positive relationships and helping learners achieve their goals.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people in education, care or residential settings.
• Commitment to child wellbeing and individual development.
• Ability to provide personal care with dignity and respect.
• Follow care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient, resilient and adaptable approach.
• Willingness to work towards Level 3 Care Certificate.

Responsabilités

• Provide personalised care and educational support to learners.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participation in activities and community access.
• Work within safeguarding procedures and placement plans.
• Collaborate with education, care and therapeutic teams.
