Job summary

Action for Children is seeking a caring Residential Support Worker to join our Rhondda service. You’ll help keep young people safe, support daily routines, personal care and activities, and build trusting relationships in a warm, child‑centred home.

With part-time hours (16 per week) on a rota covering days, evenings, sleep-ins and weekends, you’ll receive extensive training, generous leave, wellbeing days and access to discounts, life assurance and pension schemes as part of our commitment to

Qualifications

• Must be able to engage with young people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to complete Level 3 Health and Social Care within 2 years

Responsibilities

• Accurate recording and reporting to safeguard young people
