Job summary

You will help with daily activities, care planning, and building relationships in a nurturing home-like setting. The role includes sleep-ins, weekend work, and opportunities for professional growth within a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential childcare settings is preferred.
• Ability to work with children and young people with complex needs.
• Commitment to safeguarding and professional boundaries.
• Good literacy and numeracy for accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts with confidence – manage medication and handovers.
• Build trusted relationships as a key worker for children and young people.
• Support daily activities and contribute to care planning.
• Work with families and professionals to support outcomes.
• Maintain clear records and participate in reviews.
• Develop through training and team meetings.
• Support children to develop independence and life skills.
