Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential Care or Health and Social Care (Children’s Pathway).
• Proven experience in residential care settings (min 12 months).
• Strong safeguarding, risk management and consistent practice within children’s residential services.

Job Overview

We are recruiting for a Residential Support Worker role in Liverpool, Merseyside, supporting children and young people within a specialist residential care setting. This Residential Support Worker opportunity focuses on creating a safe, structured home environment where young people feel valued and supported. As a Residential Support Worker, you will deliver consistent care, follow individual care plans, and promote emotional wellbeing through trauma-informed practice. Key Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality residential care and emotional support to children and young people in line with care plans and safeguarding procedures

Requirements & Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Children’s Residential Care or Health and Social Care (Children’s Pathway)
• Proven experience working as a Residential Support Worker or in a similar children’s home / residential care setting (minimum 12 months)
• Strong practical knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and consistent practice within children’s residential services
• Enhanced DBS Check and a full UK driving licence (fewer than 6 penalty points), plus access to a vehicle or ability to drive a manual pool car
