Job summary

YourRecruit Ltd in Milton Keynes is hiring a Residential Support Worker to assist children and young people in a residential setting. The role involves supporting daily routines, education, activities and personal development within a safe, nurturing home environment.

You will build trusting relationships, support care plans and records, and work across a rota including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins. Full clean UK driving licence and safeguarding understanding are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably within children's residential care.
• A relevant Level 3 qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Experience supporting emotional or behavioural needs would be beneficial.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in challenging situations.
• A full UK driving licence.

We are looking for a Residential Support Worker to join a supportive team within a children's residential home in Milton Keynes.

The Role
