Job description

Job Title: Residential Support Worker

We are working with residential schools across Derbyshire and recruiting for experienced residential support workers for students aged 5 to 20 years. You will support the school in transforming the lives of children and young people with academic and social challenges by providing a safe and happy environment where they can learn and communicate confidently.

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated residential support workers to assist students with care activities in the home, support their needs during leisure activities and school holidays, and promote their independence and choices.

Key Requirements:

1. Previous knowledge and experience in a similar role or setting.
2. Patience, understanding, and resilience to face challenges, with support from staff.
3. Ability to work well in a team and use initiative.
4. Basic understanding of SEN and meeting individual needs.
5. Driving license and own transport are preferred due to role locations.
